Well re-joined SW in January 2013 and lost 5lb before leaving to go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. There was method in my madness, I reasoned that a loss before I left meant that it would counteract any holiday gain (I put on a staggering 4 1/2 lb despite walking miles and generally only eating one meal a day - ok, ok and serval portions of beignets)
Stop looking accusingly at me, ok there may have been frozen strawberry daiquiris and a hurricane (which MAY have contained 4 oz of rum). There may have been thick milkshakes and everything may have have been covered in cheese.
In fact, we may write to President Obama and suggest that the obesity crisis could well be halted in America if they just stopped covering everything in melted cheese.
But I took my gain knowing that at least I didn't put on in a fortnight more than I had lost!
But best foot forward now ...
